A 15 has beaten a 2 seed 5 times since 2012. There was no tournament last year. So in 32 trials it has happened 5 times. That is only around 6.5 to 1. Granted it was infrequent before 2012 but with all these one and done's playing college basketball in big programs there is no cohesiveness with teams. I had so many huge favorites get blown out during the regular season they were too numerous to count. I am talking about double digit teams losing by 10-15 points. With empty arenas every game feels like a practice drill.

Anytime a 15 beats a 2, it is a big deal. And fun to watch. Unless it's your team going down of course.

Oral Roberts is a good team BUT Ohio State should've lost their championship game as well. Florida will beat them tomorrow, but 8 is a lot to give IMO. But I can see Florida beating them by 10 or more.

I think a 15 over a 2 is still special. Winning 1 in 8 games means its still a rare occurrence. It just means there's at least a chance

Like everything, it's about one's own perspective

Now it's a huge deal. Only the second 15th seed to reach the Sweet Sixteen.

Yes of course. Defeating a #2 seed fave/power in the first round is so passe.
